Joelle was appointed as an alternate county member in 2022 to complete an unexpired term. Joelle's current term is 2021-2025. Also in 2022, she became the first woman elected to the role of Supervisor to represent Napa County's 1st District. Joelle has lived in Napa since 1992, and her leadership experience reflects her passion for serving our diverse community. Additionally she served as a County Planning Commissioner from 2017-2022.
Joelle's volunteer roles have included: founding member and co-chair of the Napa Housing Coalition, founding member of the Community Leaders Coalition, founding chair of Teens Connect, founding board member of Community Health Initiative, board member of the Continuum of Care, board member of the Napa Chamber of Commerce and the Napa Chamber Foundation, and co-chair of the Live healthy Napa County Leadership Collaborative.
